Key Purpose
To elevate Discovery as an employer of choice internally and externally. Own the execution of Employer Branding strategy and the roll-out the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) across multiple platforms.
Success is measured by the number of successful new opportunities implemented, people reached, and talent attracted.
Areas of responsibility may include but are not limited to
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders across Center of Excellence/Expertise (COE), Recruitment, Talent Acquisition and Marketing functions to align our EVP and Employer Brand
  • Drive the embedding of the EVP across the business in partnership with COE stakeholders
  • Contribute to content strategy building and roll-out for various requests in recruitment marketing channels i.e., careers website, social media and internal platforms i.e. Enboarder, Modern Hire
  • Assist in designing and the execution of Employer Branding strategy supported by EVP activities for Discovery group
  • Monthly measurement reports of the Talent Attraction Strategy leveraging LinkedIn/Sprinklr/Sprout/Careers site to provide metrics and supporting data
  • Knowledge of both organic and paid social media marketing channels and methodologies
  • Ability to present proposals and reports to leadership stakeholders to drive strategic decision making
  • Oversee our employer brand partnerships and vendors i.e., LinkedIn and further identify new partnerships to leverage
  • Management and maintenance of Internal Employee Advocacy programme
  • Collaborate with the Marketing, Internal Communications team for various marketing initiatives i.e., career website content management, LinkedIn content development, internal communication requirements/campaigns, branding /CI guidance
  • Build an intentional professional brand as a subject matter expert /specialist in Employer Branding/EVP.
  • Event management for our inhouse EVP initiatives, AGFA & EAP programmes
  • This role has a direct reporting line to the Head of Talent Acquisition and Brand.

Education and Experience
  • Relevant 3-year degree
  • Minimum 5 years in digital marketing, brand management communications, and talent acquisition (is adventurous)
  • Proven experience and successful track record in marketing and brand management
  • Ability to create engaging creative content on the spot
  • Have the ability to synthesize and interpret data to tell compelling stories leveraging available tools i.e., LinkedIn/Sprout/Sprinkler
  • You have a great attitude, team-first sensibilities, and ability to deliver on time
