HEAD OF MASTERS AND POST GRAD

PROGRAMMES

WESTVILLE CAMPUS

REFERENCE NUMBER: GSBL05/2021

The Head of Masters and Post Grad Programmes is a new position and the incumbent will provide strategic

leadership, academic management, and operational direction to these programmes. The appointee will be

tasked to ensure the academic integrity, and financial viability of the Masters and Post Grad curricula and

qualifications. Additionally, and amongst other key functions, he/she will be responsible for coaching,

mentoring, and developing the capacity of staff working in these programmes.

 

The Head of Masters and Post Grad Programmes is the custodian of the said programmes and is part of the

School Leadership and Management Team and reports to the Dean of the Graduate School of Business and

Leadership.

Minimum Requirements: 

A relevant Doctorate Degree and having held a position at Senior Lecturer level 

Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in either teaching, lecturing, or research 

Minimum of 5 years verifiable experience in postgraduate teaching and/or developing junior staff 

A record of excellence in research and publication 

Experience in the development/reform of teaching modules, or curricula 

Where applicable, registration with the appropriate regulatory body
