ABOUT THE ROLE / PURPOSE OF THE JOB
This role is responsible for assisting in the implementation of people processes; supporting HR processes, practices and systems to achieve enhanced effectiveness and efficiency; and proactively supporting and educating employees and line management on HR processes.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

In addition to a pre-employment medical examination this position may require a physical fitness assessment as part of the normal selection criteria.

Qualifications :
– Matric/ Grade 12

  • B-degree in HR or Behavioural Sciences will be advantageous
Experience :
– 2 years’ experience in the HR environment

  • SAP HR
  • Excellent skills in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint & Excel)

  • Uses HR technology and systems to extract relevant HR data
  • Compiles and presents meaningful HR reports through interpretation, comparisons and trend analyses
  • Ensures data integrity of HR system
  • Recruitment, on-boarding of employees and talent management
  • Assists with the selection process, in collaboration with the HRBP/ HRC and line management
  • Assists in managing the employment contracting process
  • Assists with the enrolment and on-boarding process

  • Sets up relevant hearings and grievance meetings
  • Assists in drafting relevant documentation
  • Ensures the collation and finalisation of relevant documentation on completion
  • Extracts and captures information on the ER system

Remuneration and Employee Benefits

-Understands all remuneration and benefits principles, policies and procedures and can explain them clearly to employees

  • Does calculations and formulae related to remuneration and benefits
  • Staff movement and separation of employees
  • Coordinates the employee movement processes and procedures (e g employee transfers, promotions, redeployment and rotation)
  • Coordinates the employee separation process and procedures (e g resignation, retirement, retrenchment, dismissal, ill health, death and incapacity)

Process efficiency

-Plays a key role in the implementation and execution of administrative solutions within agreed work plans and timelines

  • Regularly reviews work against compliance and required objectives and standards
  • Directs employees with the correct route to take with more complex HR issues

Change Agent

-Assists in implementing clearly defined change management processes and projects

  • Utilises necessary material to support line management and employees in following change processes

Leadership

-Supports vision and values and goals aligned to business direction

  • Continuously seeks to improve personal mastery, professional and business growth

(ensuring technical / professional development in specialist area)

Customer and Relationship Results

-HR marketing and communication

  • Is able to communicate and market the relevant HR service offerings
