Full-Time Industry Manager, Finance (English) by Google
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to speak and write in English fluently.
- Experience in building relationships with directors and C-Level stakeholders by developing an understanding of the clients’ business and driving data-driven insights.
- Experience in digital advertising sales/marketing, working with brands as well as advertising creative and media agencies across all levels.
- Knowledge of key Google related advertising products (i.e.,Search, Display, Video, Mobile, Analytics, Google Marketing Platform).
- Knowledge of the Financial Services industry in Africa.
- Ability to align multiple stakeholders internally and externally to defined goals and deliverables.

The Africa Large Customer Sales (LCS) Finance Pod works with the pan-African financial services businesses to grow their businesses using Google’s marketing and cloud platforms. We work with clients based in South Africa who are growing their presence across the continent using digital as a primary enabler.
As an Industry Manager, you will help our existing clients and new businesses to use Google’s products.
Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We’re uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google’s broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.
- Help our financial services clients build and grow their presence within an increasingly digital consumer space.
- Develop effective relationships with a large set of client stakeholders from marketing to product across all levels.
- Lead strategic growth projects and work closely with Account Managers to drive transformational results.
- Build effective cross-functional relationships with other teams within Google, within the finance industry, and with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyze data trends and performance with a team of analysts to identify new opportunities and prioritize actions.
