ROLE DESCRIPTION

As a member of the Microsoft team, the CSP Billing Administrator will fulfil a supporting role within the business unit. Specifically, the CSP Billing Administrator will drive best in class practices to assist internal, as well as external customers to ensure service delivery excellence. The CSP Billing Administrator will contribute to a high-performance environment in order to achieve and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Assumes responsibility and ownership for administering and managing the end to end CSP billing process

  • Own, run and manage CSP billing process end to end with the assistance of internal stakeholders.
  • Understand, initiate and drive process flows.
  • Track, manage and assist with enablement on CSP Renewals, Recurring and Retention.
  • Ensure that all reconciliations and billings are completed timeously.
  • Arrange invoices, resolve billing errors, update billing records and communicate with customers regarding complaints and reconciliations, in conjunction with the support team.
  • Liaise between other departments to resolve problems and queries (i.e AP, Finance, Purchasing, and Sales).
  • Liaise with Global counterparts (Support, development and testing) to resolve any system downtime timeously.
  • Implement and maintain procedures regarding CSP Billing process within the Company.
  • Assist with internal reports (i.e. Usage Reports, Reseller Reconciliation files etc.).
  • Assist with database management and data capturing relevant to Microsoft CSP programme
  • Track general performance and SLA’s of support cases.
  • Ensure that deadlines are met and provide constant updates to all stakeholders and management.
  • Monthly administration process review and control.
  • Keep all stakeholders up to date with the status of their query.

Assumes responsibility for maintaining effective communication and coordination with management personnel, customers, and vendors

  • Assist area personnel as needed.
  • Keep management informed of activities, progress towards established objectives, and of any significant problems.
  • Attend and participate in meetings as required.
  • Maintain regular contact with other departments to obtain information and/or correct problems.
  • Maintain Company professional reputation.
  • Continuous vigilance of incoming e-mails and monitoring of telephone.
  • Ensure availability during peak billing periods. When not available, ensure suitable substitute in your absence.

Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned

  • Various other administrative tasks that may be required from time to time.
  • Attend training as required.
  • Month-end it is required that you work until all billings and reconciliations are completed.
  • Any reasonable and lawful instruction related to work and given by an authorized person.


PERSON SPECIFICATION

Education / Qualifications
Matric

Knowledge

  • Microsoft licensing knowledge.
  • SAP knowledge is advantageous.
  • Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word and Outlook) – particularly MS Excel.

Experience

  • Microsoft CSP Billing experience.
  • Previous experience and some knowledge of Microsoft operational processes.
  • Admin experience in the ICT industry would be advantageous.
  • Microsoft Distribution/ Channel Partner experience would be advantageous.
  • Project management experience would be advantageous.
