Purpose of the Job

To assist the pharmacist with dispensing and performing pharmacy-related administrative duties at our Medirite Plus Cresta Crossing branch.

Key Performance Areas include:

• Stock control
• Dispensing (under the supervision of a pharmacist)
• Administration
• Housekeeping
• Frontshop service

Qualifications

Essential:

• Qualified as a Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant.
• Registered as a Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant with the South African pharmacy council.

Experience

• Two years+ experience working in a similar role.

Knowledge and Skills

Essential:

• Customer service orientated
• Dispensing knowledge
• Knowledge of dispensing systems and ordering systems

Desirable:

• Knowledge of Retail/ FMCG operations
