Job Description

Duties/Pligte

• Reporting for duty at the control room in order to be booked into the electronic system;
• Checking that all equipment are in working order;
• Inspecting buildings during first patrol to see if all doors and windows are closed;
• Inspecting perimeter fencing for any damages, and reporting it to the control room immediately;
• Inspecting all parked vehicles on the premises;
• Responding to all alarm activations on the alarm detection systems;
• Responding to assist security officers on posts in case of emergency;
• Assisting with escorting students during night shift on campus when required;
• Assisting at the main entrance with access control when required.

Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes

• Matric;
• Five years’ security experience;
• PSiRA registered: C-grade;
• A valid drivers licence
